7 Reasons Why Grand Vitara is Good Car For You

Grand Vitara is the successor of Suzuki’s series of Vitara SUVs, first Suzuki Vitara was launched in 1988. The series was so successful that Suzuki launched another car of this series last year. Maruti Suzuki’s Vitara Brezza has been ruling the Indian market of compact SUVs since 2016, so Suzuki decided to update it in a very futuristic way.

They launched two different cars one with the name of Brezza and the other named the Grand Vitara, so in today’s blog we will be discussing in detail about this compact suv which also is more expensive and futuristic as compared to Brezza so let’s begin:

7- Grand Vitara Interior:

Currently, it is Maruti Suzuki’s most expensive car in India and when you enter this car you will feel it. Its interiors are very premium looking in fact some people called it the best interior in Maruti Suzuki’s lineup.

Its seats are very spacious and comfortable made up of epoxy leather cushions and in its dashboard, you will see so much soft touch material making it a premium segment car.

Its steering is tilted and telescopic and you will see a big Suzuki logo in the middle of the steering with some buttons for controlling the infotainment system and other functions. In the dashboard you are getting a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system typical ac vents and some hard plastic, yes they used soft touch and hard plastic both in the dashboard.

The instrument cluster of this car is analogue in a mild hybrid model and a small middle segment is digital but the Strong Hybrid model is getting a full touch screen instrument cluster also.

6- Grand Vitara Exterior:

From the outside, this car looks really beautiful its boxy design and high bonnet give it a proper SUV look. From the front, you will notice its big segment of glossy black grills and chrome design with the Suzuki logo.

The design of its Led Drls are three-point design and the main headlamp has a separate segment and is big. From the backside, you will see a very big led tail light starting from one side and ending on other side Suzuki logo and name badging are given in the middle of the Tailgate along with led lights, But the main tail lights are in vertical shape.

5- Engine Power:

Grand Vitara Smart Hybrid Model you are getting 1.5 Liter petrol with mild hybrid engine which can produce 103 hp and 136.8 Nm of Torque.

The good news is Maruti is giving you All wheel drive option in this car which is good if you love offroading. While in Strong Hybrid Model you will get a 1.5 Liter 3-cylinder petrol engine which can produce 92.4 hp and 122 Nm of torque while its Motor produced 80 hp and 141 Nm of torque together they both produce approx 115 hp. Yes, you will get more power when the engine and motor combine.

4- Features:

The most important feature which I like in hot weather conditions of India is Ventilated seats and yes you are getting Ventilated front seats in this car which is really good because even in Hyundai Creta this feature is currently missing.

Another cool feature is the Panoramic Sunroof which is the first in all of Maruti Suzuki’s India Lineup. You will get Android Auto, Apple CarPlay and Wireless Charging in this car.

But the electric seat adjustment feature and automatic tailgate opening feature are still missing in this car. You will also get Heads-Up Display in this car which is also a good feature. Its 9-inch infotainment display is very responsive and has a brighter display you will have access to lots of features with this display.

3- Safety Features:

In terms of safety, we can consider this car will get a minimum 4-star safety rating because this car is based on Maruti’s Brezza which gained a 4-star safety rating. You also get 6 airbags, a 360-degree camera, all disc brakes, ABS with EBD Electronic Stability Control, Hill Hold Assist, ISOFIX child seat mounts and a tyre pressure monitoring system so overall you can consider this as a safe car.

2- Space & Comfort:

As I mentioned earlier front seats are very comfortable but rear seats are also comfortable and you will have extra ac vent for rear passengers. If two persons are sitting in the rear seats they can open the armrest with a cup holder but if you want three persons to sit on the rear side then you have to fold the armrest.

However, all three rear passengers will get adjustable headrests for their comfortable ride. In the Hood you will get space according to your models, in a mild hybrid, you will get 355 Litres of boot space while in Smart Hybrid you will get only 255 litres of boot space because this car has some space for a battery.

Grand Vitara is currently the most expensive car in Maruti Suzuki’s India lineup normally the price of this car starts from Rs. 10.70 and goes upto 19.80 but the price of cars can differ from city to city so let’s have look at the price of this car in some famous Indian Cities-
